Chichester man arrested after he tried to escape through a window

A man has been arrested by police on suspicion of drug dealing.

A man from Chichester was arrested on Thursday, January 27th, as part of Operation Cuckoo.

This operation involved checking on vulnerable people who may be at risk of exploitation. Cuckooing refers to drug dealers using the homes of vulnerable people as a base to supply drugs.

The police detected the smell of cannabis on arrival and found three people who are believe to not be the residents in the home which was on High street.

After conducting searches police found Class A drugs and items linked to the supply of drugs.
