Covid Cases on the rise in West Sussex

Some areas of West Sussex are seeing an increase in cases.

Some areas in West Sussex are seeing a rise in Covid cases over the last seven day period.

Horsham, Adur and Worthing have all recorded soaring levels of Covid infections in the past week

It's coming just before the government's 'Plan B' rules are due to be lifted later this week

Horsham and Adur both have infection rates about 1,000 per 100,000 people - meaning one in every 1-- people have Covid at the moment.

From Thursday restrictions are being relaxed - including mask wearing becoming advised rather than mandatory in indoor settings.

It also means vaccine passports will be scrapped.
