A special murder mystery event is set to take place at the historic Cowdray Ruins near Midhurst on the 7th of March, offering visitors the chance to step into a real-life whodunit.
The interactive experience invites participants to explore the picturesque ruins while working together to solve a fictional crime. The event is suitable for ages eight and over, making it ideal for families, friends and groups looking for something a little different.
During the event, visitors will explore the exterior of the Cowdray Ruins as well as historic areas inside, including the Kitchen and Tower rooms. Along the way, participants will question a range of characters playing the role of witnesses in order to gather clues and piece together what happened.
Once the investigation is complete, guests will present their findings during a trial-style finale to determine who the culprit is.
All of the characters involved in the event will be dressed in historical costume, helping to bring the story to life and create an immersive atmosphere among the historic surroundings of the ruins.
The murder mystery forms part of a wider series of themed events held at Cowdray, with each storyline designed to be different. This means visitors can return to test their detective skills again and again with new mysteries to solve.
Organisers say the event offers a unique mix of historical exploration and interactive theatre, providing an engaging experience for anyone who enjoys puzzles, storytelling and history.
There is also a special offer available for V2 Radio listeners, with half-price entry costing just £10. Buy here Cowdray Murder Mystery - 7th March - V2 Vouchers
