A man from Eastbourne has been charged with terrorism offences as part of an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East.
Mohammed Abdulkalik Fadil Alazawi, aged 35 of Bedford Grove, in the town was charged on Saturday (7 March) with three counts of encouraging people to commit, prepare or instigate acts of terrorism, contrary to Section 1 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Alazawi has been remanded in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday (9 March).
