Thirty Six spots for vehicles to charge simultaneously at Gatwick

Gatwick Airport are taking another step towards being green - announced a new electric vehicle forecourt.

It's going to be build on the Ring Road South approach to South Terminal - with 36 spots for vehicles to charge simultaneously.

The move is a first for a UK airport - and is expected to be completed by late 2022. 

The new facility will be available for everyone, including passengers, commuters, airport staff, local residents and businesses

36 Electric Vehicles can be charged simultaneously, with high-power chargers capable of adding 100 miles of range in less than 10 minutes

The Electric Forecourt forms part of Gatwick Airport’s commitment to reach net zero carbon emissions for its internal operations before 2040
