Worthing has seen some exciting new venues and businesses open in recent months and more are on the way.

One example is Perch on the Pier which will be opening inside Worthing Pier’s Southern Pavilion on Good Friday (April 15). Businessman Alex Hole, who also runs Perch café on Lancing beach, made the exciting announcement this week.

“I’m so excited to show everyone the space and the building,” he said, “we’ve worked tirelessly to try and keep this incredible structure and bring back its grand status.”

Refurbishments and extensions under way

Several well-known venues have also been carrying out extensions and refurbishments.

Escape Bar & Grill, at 37-39 Marine Parade, announced plans for a refurbishment and craft beer shop and taproom Beer No Evil, at 82 Brighton Road, has been given permission by the Council for outdoor seating.
