Bognor Regis based charity Grandad's Front Room say they're "delighted" by the news that they're receiving £10k in National Lottery funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
With the money, they say they can pay for storage this year, and hopefully find a bigger premises.
They have plans to make Grandads Front Room even more welcoming and safe as they look for a place to store larger items such as bed and sofas.
It marks a turning point in what they were concerned could be a very difficult period, but between the funding and donations from the Santa Window they say they now have the funds for many other costs. This includes their rent, utilities and van costs.
They want to extend a "Geriatric Hug to everyone whose helped them so far", believing all of it will allow them to help more people in need as they get back on their feet.
