Ladies Day at Fontwell Racecourse is going ahead

Fontwell Racecourse’s Ladies Day returns in 2021 and is set to take place on Thursday 19 August.

Ladies Day at Fontwell Racecourse will offer racegoers the much-needed chance to get out of their ‘working-from-home-wardrobe’ and dress up in those forgotten favourite ‘going-out’ clothes.

Chic outfits and beautiful Ladies Day hats will be in abundance as racegoers put their best shoe forward to impress the judges of the Style Awards; with the winning Ladies Day outfit taking home a prize.

There’ll be plenty going on across the racecourse, on and off the track, with seven live horse races to enjoy, a variety of delicious food and drink and, of course, the hotly contested ‘Style Awards’.

Claire Hogben, General Manager at Fontwell Racecourse, said: “Everyone here at Fontwell Racecourse loves Ladies Day and we’re really looking forward to welcoming back our racegoers in all their finery.

"There’s always a great atmosphere here and everyone looks great in their Ladies Day outfits. Of course, Gents are welcome too and this fixture is the perfect excuse to smarten up and finally have a reason to get dressed up for a special day at the races.

"We’re really happy to be able to stage this fixture with racegoers in 2021.”

The most stylish racegoer wearing their 'Forgotten Favourite' outfit will win a cash prize of £500.
