Last chance to have your say on the future of West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service!

West Sussex residents can shape the future of their local fire service by taking part in the service’s Community Risk Management Plan consultation.

The closing date for responses to the short survey is next Friday (21 January 2022).

The consultation sets out the direction of the service over the next four years, and as part of this there are six improvement proposals that the service is seeking feedback on.

Cabinet Member for Community Support, Fire & Rescue, Duncan Crow said: “We would really welcome people’s views on the proposals, as the Community Risk Management Plan is an integral document within the fire service that sets out the risks and priorities over the next four years.

“Over 400 people have already shared their views and completed the consultation. If you are yet to have your say, then please visit our Engagement Hub and take part by next Friday (21 January).”

On the consultation page you will also find full details of the proposals, supporting documents and dates of upcoming information sessions.

The results of this consultation will influence the final Community Risk Management Plan, which is a statutory document due to launch later this year.

Paper forms can be requested by phoning 01243 786211, and an easy-read version is also available.
