Police officers were called to a field off Ivy Lane, Westergate, near Chichester around 7.50am on Saturday 14th January.
A Police spokesperson told V2 Radio this morning that they were responding to 'concerns for a man'.
Sussex Police went on to say that "Officers attended and the man was sadly declared deceased,".
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed."
