Moonlight Walk 2022 Early bird tickets now available

Stride out under the stars in September for a walk to remember with St Wilfrid’s Hospice Moonlight Walk 2022.

This year is the 35th Anniversary of St Wilfrid’s Hospice and the Moonlight Walk Week is an incredible way to show your support for this local charity providing such expert care and compassion to patients and their loved ones facing terminal illness.
The official Moonlight Walk Week will be 3 –10th September 2022 and there are three ways to join in:

Walk your own Moonlight Walk! Choose your own time and special route with the Virtual Moonlight Walk. Complete your 5 or 10 miles (that’s 10,000 or 20,000 steps) anytime between 3-10th September and connect with us on social media.

Join in the Moonlight Walk evening event! Join us on Saturday 10th September for our familiar 5 or 10-mile routes through Chichester, including the new celebration and remembrance stations.

You will be able to choose a starting time.

Volunteer to support the evening event on 10th September and help make this year really special for all those walking in memory of loved ones. An ideal and rewarding experience for someone new to volunteering.

Pamela Fitzsimmons volunteered last year and said,

"The evening was a pleasure from start to finish. The setup was amazing with lovely well organised staff. I knew quite a lot of the walkers, many that had lost a loved one at the Hospice. They all though it was such a very special night and something they will never forget. Put me down for next year"

The early bird price of £16 per adult and £13 per child (10-17yr olds) is available now by registering now at stwh.co.uk/moonlight or by calling 01243 755899.

This year everyone taking part will get a finisher medal to celebrate 35 years of St Wilfrid’s Hospice care, and individual fundraisers will again have the opportunity to earn ‘Superstar walker’ status and receive a special hoodie if they can raise over £250.
