Previously wanted Zak Marsden traced by officers in Brighton

Zak Marsden, 32, of no fixed address, was charged with assault in Brighton, but did not attend a court hearing in December 2020.

A suspect who was wanted on suspicion of assault and failure to attend court has been traced by officers.

Zak Marsden, 32, of no fixed address, was charged with assault in Brighton, but did not attend a court hearing in December 2020.

Police first appealed for information about him in December 2020 and a reward was also offered.

He was detained by officers in the Hollingbury area of Brighton on September 16 and was remanded in custody before appearing at Brighton Magistrates' Court on September 17.

Marsden is charged with assault by beating and was released on unconditional bail to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on January 28 next year.
