
A young motorbike rider from Sussex was one of two competitors killed in a tragic crash during the British Supersport Championship race at Oulton Park in Cheshire yesterday.
Owen Jenner, 21, from Crowborough, lost his life alongside fellow rider Shane Richardson following a multi-bike collision involving 11 riders during Sunday afternoon’s race.
Event organisers confirmed that Jenner received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transferred to the circuit’s medical centre. Despite efforts to save him, he died from a catastrophic head injury.
