West Sussex firefighters urge motorcyclists to choose the right helmet

They say it's important to buy one from a reputable retailer

Firefighters in West Sussex are urging motorcyclists to make sure they buy the correct helmet.

They say you should consider your budget and needs, but also your safety.

Their advice is to buy a new helmet every few years or after any impact.

Meanwhile, the fire service is warning that buying fake or counterfeit motorbike helmets can prove to be very dangerous.

They're urging motorcyclists to only buy from reputable retailers to ensure the helmet is safe and legal.
