Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?

That's the question Arun Police HAVEN'T been asking after they received a report yesterday (26 Jan 2022)

The force say the foul criminal was acting defensive and not allowing anyone near to it.

It ruffled a few feathers, but in a tweet they said they were not attending the incident on Cornwall Road.

Instead, they've called on whoever owns the chicken to come and find it.

Writing on Twitter, Arun Police said:

Are you missing a chicken!! We've had a report of a defensive chicken on Cornwall Road #Littlehampton. If its yours please go and find it. Its holding up traffic and angry with anyone going near it. We are not attending. #PCSteer #EA279 pic.twitter.com/1SKudwesmT
