Mulberry Marine Experiences are located on the South Coast in Selsey. They are a SSI Blue Oceans Centre, offering a full range of services including experiences for all the family, SSI training, equipment sales, trips, guided tours, events, equipment rental, equipment servicing, and air fills. They are waiting to welcome & introduce you to some amazing UK Marine residents on our beaches and in the water.
The Snorkel Diver Course is designed to give you the skills & concepts needed to explore with confidence and safety. The programme is suitable for anyone who enjoys being in the water and wants to be more confident. Whether you are a complete beginner, or looking to improve, and build on your skills your Snorkel Instructor will tailor your course to suit. Suitable for families, couples and individuals looking to get more out of their water experiences.
During this one-day programme your Instructor will cover equipment selection, equipment preparation, mask and snorkel skills, finning techniques, working with your buddy, self, and buddy rescue, exit and entry techniques, specialised equipment use, planning and fun! The course has several variations depending on your experience level, weather, and conditions. Whenever possible your Snorkelling Instructor will take you into the sea* to explore sites from the shore like Selsey Lifeboat Station, East Beach and West Beach. During the winter months courses will be held in a heated swimming pool with locations in Portsmouth and Chichester.
The Course teaches correct technique, water safety, buddy work and rescue, equipment confidence so they can enjoy adventures in safety. We run courses in the sea and swimming pool for those just starting out, appropriate for families with minimum age being six if water confident.

Voucher Terms and Conditions
- Booking is essential
- Each Voucher entitles 1 person to a one-day Snorkel Diver Course with Mulberry Marine Experiences.
- You must tell staff that you have a voucher when booking. Failing to declare you have a voucher upon booking may mean that you are denied the right to use it, and will be expected to pay for your experience.
- Voucher expires 6 months after purchase.
- Courses will be taught in the sea wherever possible rather than the pool.
- All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
- There is a short medical questionnaire that has to be completed.
- Snorkelling is weather & conditions dependent.
- Subject to availability.
- Voucher not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- Once you have bought & downloaded the voucher, Mulberry Marine Experiences are the correspondent.
- Voucher has no cash value.
- Voucher cannot be exchanged for goods or cash.
