Artius Care Care Awards

Do you know a Carer who goes above & beyond?
A Carer who deserves recognition for all they do?
Nominate them for an Artius Care Care Award, and celebrate their excellence!

We want to hear about the Carer who makes your day easier, brightens your day and brings a smile to the face others. Whether they're an NHS Care Assistant, Domicilary Care Carer or an Unpaid Carer, we want to celebrate them!

The Artius Care Care Awards is a celebration of the excellence of our Carers in Sussex. The purpose of these awards is to recognise those who go the extra mile, illustrate excellence in their day-to-day work and continue to go above & beyond for the care industry.

We have six different categories that you can nominate the Carer for, and each category has different descriptions and/or specifications. Below are the Awards Categories, with a brief description for that award. You can follow the links for a more detailed description to ensure you are choosing the most appropriate category for your chosen Carer.

Nominations will close on Sunday 1st May. Any nominations submitted after this date won't be considered for judging. Each person who submits a nomination, will be entered in to a PRIZE DRAW to win a bespoke treatment package at Beauty Secrets Salon & Spa!

The winners of each category will be chosen by a panel of judges on Tuesday 3rd May, with the winners being announced live on V2 Radio on Friday 6th May, and then the Winners will be invited along to the Presentation Event.

Nominations Form

  • Unpaid Carer

The Unpaid Carer Award is to celebrate an unpaid carer who demonstrates the dedication that unpaid carers show to their local community or the difference they have made to the life of someone they care for.

  • Care Home Carer

The Care Home Carer Award is to recognise a carer that works within a care home, who goes above & beyond for the residents living in residential care, their colleagues or even within their training.

  • In Your Home Carer

The Domiciliary Care Carer Award is to recognise the significant role of a domiciliary carer, within our County, who goes the extra mile whilst dedicating their time providing the much needed time & care for people living in their own home.

  • NHS Care Assistant

The NHS Care Assistant Award is to celebrate someone who is in a healthcare support role with the NHS, such as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) or Care Support Worker (CSW), who surpasses expectations & makes a huge contribution to maintaining & protecting the health & well-being of those in the County who are in hospital.

  • Carers Carer

The Carers Carer Award is to acknowledge the carer that goes to great lengths for their fellow carers. This could be simply being the ray of sunshine that brightens everyone's mood on a tough day, being the go-to person when you have a question or the carer who goes out of their way to check in with their colleagues.

  • Overall Winner

The Overall Winner Award is for the individual who most personifies what it is to be a carer. They combine a natural passion for caring & helping people with the skills & ability they have learnt, to be the person you wouldn't want to do without.
