Artius Care Care Awards
Here at V2 Radio we're giving you the opportunity to nominate the carers in your life for an Artius Care Care Award. These awards are a way of showing the dedicated care professionals our gratitude & recognition when thank you just isn't enough.
We know that different care roles bring different responsibilities and tasks and we also know that different people go in to the care industry for a variety of reasons with a range of different attributes & qualities. With this in mind we have divided the awards in to six different categories:
Care Home Carer - Community Carer - Unpaid Carer -
Carers Carer - NHS Team - Overall Winner
Maybe someone you know has been looked after by a "Fantastic Finlay" - who is an unpaid carer and receives NO financial reward for the work he does. Finlay cares for his mother and younger siblings, he makes sure his mum is comfortable and has everything she needs before he goes off to college.
Care Home Carer
Do you know a ‘Amazing Adam’ who saw how well his Grandfather was looked after in a home and decided to give back to the care industry, by working in his local Residential Home. Adam goes above and beyond at all times with a cheery smile and a determination to help those around him - he loves nothing more than hearing residents stories over a cuppa.
Perhaps you know an ‘Outstanding Oliver’ – who is a Community carer – he always goes that extra mile delivering multi-level care, enabling those he cares for to live in their own homes and keep their independence. He loves taking his clients on shopping trips.
The Tremendous Team pride themselves on knowing their patients individual comforts and ensuring they give the best care & their full attention at all times on their ward. Do you work in an NHS Team like this? That support colleagues through their NVQ’s, learn from each other’s culture & faith and make the patients stay as comfortable as possible.
"Brilliant Brenda" has a natural passion for caring – nothing is too much trouble for Brenda – she treats all the people in her care with a natural passion – she is a great listener and committed to delivering the best possible care she can.
Do you work with a "Marvellous Magda" who found herself with time on her hands, after her son started school, and decided to get back into working in the care sector. Magda was nominated for the Carers Carer Award by her fellow carers due to always being the one to cheer them up, guides the new starters through what’s expected & keeps them up to date with the latest rules & regulations whilst keeping them stocked in biscuits.
