As part of the Festival of Chichester 2026, we are proud to present An Evening with the Southdowns Concert Band, conducted by Craig Sanders.
We’ve put together a spectacular programme that takes you on a musical journey around the world. Here is a taste of what we are preparing for you:
Epic & Powerful: Experience the thrilling Norse mythology of Fate of the Gods and the moving, cinematic theme from Band of Brothers.
Fiery & Passionate: Feel the energy of Spain with the famous, foot-tapping pasodoble Amparito Roca.
West End Magic: Enjoy show-stopping, sweeping medleys from Les Misérables and My Fair Lady.
Beautiful Virtuosity: Be spellbound by a stunning oboe solo in Demelza (featuring Chris Peryagh) and a lively performance by our Clarinet Ensemble.
Plus much more! Our full programme features a spectacular mix of traditional military marches, thrilling classical overtures, majestic fanfares, and a lively dash of big band and Broadway showtunes. There is truly something for everyone!
