Chichester Pride is an LGBTQ+ family-friendly fun packed event which promotes diversity, inclusivity, individuality, respect and unity of all within Chichester.

Chichester Pride Event
On the afternoon of Saturday 25th May 2024, Chichester Pride will hold their third Pride family-friendly festival. This event aims to increase the visibility of the local LGBTQ+ community within the city. Chichester College has shown enormous support by allowing us to host our event on their field. A feel-good and inclusive afternoon is planned with main stage entertainment, activities, stalls and a wide range of food and drink. A colourful array of performers and acts have been carefully chosen to reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ+ scene as well as showcasing some local performance groups who wholeheartedly support the need for LGBT+ visibility in Chichester.
Where and When?
The Pride event will start at 12pm at Chichester College (front lawn) and will have fabulous acts, activities and stalls going on until 7pm.
Ticket holders can expect a hugely entertaining event for the whole family to enjoy.
Event Acts
Drag artists and performers who have already been booked include:
The sensational Sum Ting Wong from Rupaul’s Drag Race UK.
Award winning, south coast favourite, Cherry Liquor.
Big Noise Samba Band Bringing you samba-reggae sounds since 2007.
The voice of Bar Broadway 2023 RJ Campinuff.
The king of camp and quick wit Dandy Issues.
The ultra-glamourous ME The Drag Queen.
Bambi Bang Bang, the newest burlesque artist on the block.
Miss Darcey Nox, Drag Idol semi-finalist 2022.
Aida H Dee, award winning childrens’ author.
Cocoa Butter Club, showcasing queer performers of colour.
P!nk-!sh, the UK P!nk tribute act that puts stage presence at the forefront.

The After Party
The Pride event will close at 7pm, but the party will continue at several host venues in the city centre where those who wish can dance into the night at events themed to coincide with Chichester Pride.
Organisation
The day has been carefully planned by the Chichester Pride committee and lots of consideration has gone into the event being inclusive of all ages and abilities, as well as reflecting the whole LGBTQ+ community. The focus is very much on providing all the fun and excitement expected at Pride events whilst balancing this with the promotion of Chichester Pride’s core values of education and inclusivity. Tickets, at only £10 (+ booking fee), have been priced as low as possible with concessions for under 18s and those who are disabled and their carers.
The Committee
The committee, who are all volunteers, are delighted with the support shown from local businesses, many of whom have joined the growing list of official sponsors alongside Chichester College Group.
Co-Chair Dawn Gracie adds ‘We really want this to be a day to remember. I urge everyone from our LGBTQ+ community and its allies to come along and show the world what we can do in our beautiful city with the right support and involvement from those who really care. Chichester, it’s time to party!’
