Harvest Feast @Henners Vineyard

Join us to toast our successful vintage! We will be hosting a celebration of the harvest upstairs in our tasting room at the end of October. The wine will be in tank and we'll be trying Henners wines beautifully paired with local seasonal food - Sussex's best!

Cooking up a storm in the kitchen are Jamie & Steph, from brilliant wine tour company Vine & Country. The menu looks something like this...

Arrive and be greeted with a glass of fizz and a canape/nibble - chicken terrine with local plum and preserved lemon chutney

Start your feast sharing baked cheese with a glass of Native Grace Barrel Aged Chardonnay

Our main, paired with Gardner Street Rose, will be rolled venison haunch, foraged mushroom stuffing, shallot puree, potato pave & a delicious jus

Finish it all off with lemon posset topped with fresh pressed grape juice jelly, from our Henners grapes this year(!) & Steph's shortbread, all washed down with a Henners cocktail!

Because we are celebrating our fantastic English harvest, we have only included our wines and as such we haven't paired a red with this menu. However, the bar will be open all night, and we have 4 fantastic red wines from our sister vineyards abroad, so red fans will be more than welcome to purchase red by the glass or bottle.

You can see examples of Steph & Jamie's food in the 4 pictures above, but rest assured! Everything at the Henners feast has been newly created to pair with our wines. It won't look like those particular dishes... but that's part of the excitement!
