Recognising refugee week YAP| Article 12 Arts| Sanctuary have collaborated and created Tears of Joy exhibition at Chichester Cathedral from 14 to 21 June (open 10-4 every day except on Sunday when it is 12-2) 104 The Hornet will also be running an exhibition in response to Refugee week and showcasing Article 12 |YAPs Limited Edition Prints
Tears of Joy is a celebration of artworks created by young asylum seekers and refugees from across the Chichester District. A brightly coloured gazebo filled with beautiful hanging wooden teardrops each one individually painted.
YAP (Young Artist Partnership) aims to support young artists on their career path, providing a platform for them to sell their work
Article 12 Arts help to provide the young artists with an opportunity to express themselves share their experiences. and have a voice.
There will also two textiles masterclass workshops on Saturday 19th June.
