V2 RADIO DOES THE SNOWDROP VIRTUAL CHARITY CHALLENGE

Members of the V2 Radio team, including Milly, Crouchie, Neale, Justin & Alex, are taking part in the Snowdrop Virtual #73 Charity Challenge this Spring - by walking, running or cycling 73 miles/km during the month of March to help support the 73 Snowdrop families!

Support us & The Sussex Snowdrop Trust by sponsoring us at Our JustGiving Page or if you'd like to get involved with the Virtual Charity Challenge you can sign up to join in here.

The Sussex Snowdrop Trust - Care at Home for Children
In our March challenge, we encourage you to walk, run or cycle a mile or km for every family that the charity supports. That’s a total of 73 miles/km during the month of March. Discounted family entries are available.
You have the whole month to complete your chosen distance - 1st to 31st March 2022!
There will be a stunning bespoke medal for all finishers and we will have spot prizes for those who walk, run or cycle the furthest distance. You don’t have to stop at 73, you can just keep going!

This is a great chance to get active this Spring with friends and family all over the UK, (and even the world!) by taking part in the Virtual #73 Challenge, in association with Nice Work. By taking part we'll be helping those 73 families whose children we are supporting with vital nursing care at home, by providing financial help or emotional support from our team of counsellors.

V2 Radio & The Sussex Snowdrop Trust
One of our presenters, Gary Booker, has first hand experience of how The Sussex Snowdrop Trust, and the Snowdrop Care at Home team, support the Snowdrop families. In the video below Gary, and his wife Jenny, talk about their little boy, Toby, and his journey since birth.
They explain the care that Toby needed and how the Snowdrop Care at Home Team were there to support. The couple share the sad news that Toby died when he was 2 years and 9 months old. Gary speaks about the counsellor always being there for him.
The family walk in memory of Toby every year at the charity's walk at Arundel Castle Estate Park in their sunny yellow t -shirts. The family are great supporters of the Sussex Snowdrop Trust and are always fundraising to help others. We are so grateful to them for sharing Toby's story so others may understand more fully the impact of the Snowdrop Care at Home Team.
