A 29-year-old man has been charged following a serious collision at Brighton Marina which left two men injured outside Hollywood Bowl.
Sussex Police were called to reports of a disturbance outside the venue at around 10.30pm on Friday 30 October.
Two men, aged 22 and 30, were injured following a collision involving a black Range Rover. The driver of the vehicle left the scene before police arrived.
Emergency services attended the incident, which prompted a police investigation.
A 45-year-old man was initially arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A second man was arrested on Monday 2 November.
Bradley Bell, 29, of Forge Road, Three Bridges, was subsequently charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was due to appear before Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 4 November.
Detective Inspector Jenny Pietersen, from Sussex Police, thanked members of the public who have already assisted with the investigation.
She said: “This has been a complex and fast-moving investigation, I want to thank those who have contacted us with information.
“I would like to emphasise that this matter is believed to be an isolated incident, we are not seeking any other suspects.
“We continue to ask for any witnesses or anyone with relevant information, such as footage of what happened or the Range Rover in the area at the time, to come forward if they have not already done so.”
Police are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was near Hollywood Bowl at Brighton Marina at approximately 10.30pm on Friday 30 October.
Anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage which may assist the investigation is encouraged to contact officers.
