Motorists are facing severe delays on the M27 near Portsmouth this morning following a collision which has left one lane blocked on the westbound carriageway.
The incident is affecting traffic at Junction 12 for the A27, with long queues building along the motorway and congestion stretching back towards Junction 3 of the A3(M) at Waterlooville.
Traffic travelling through Portsmouth is also experiencing delays, with congestion affecting vehicles joining the motorway from the M275.
The disruption is having a knock-on effect on surrounding roads, with eastbound traffic also reported to be affected.
Meanwhile, drivers are facing further delays on the A2030 Eastern Road following an earlier collision.
Traffic is moving slowly northbound between Morrisons and the Havant turn-off, adding to congestion across the city's road network.
Motorists travelling through the area are being advised to allow additional time for their journeys, particularly those heading towards the motorway junctions around Portsmouth.
