It comes as the crash which happened last night is still causing major disruption.
Diversions are still in place while Sussex police investigate to find the cause of the crash. Road closures remain in place in both directions between Chichester and Havant.
The A280 long furlong west Worthing remains closed both ways due to roadworks until February 12.
This morning the A27 Eastbound had queuing traffic from the A3M through to Havant.
As we have already reported, the driver, a man 25, of a black VW Golf sadly died in the crash at 11.40 pm last night. One other man, 19, has suffered life-threatening injuries and is in hospital.
They say the road is likely to be closed in both directions between Fishbourne and Emsworth roundabout for "quite some time".
Police would like to hear from the driver of a red Audi A3 who may be able to assist with the investigation.
