A man has died in a crash on the A27 near Chichester.
The collision involved a silver Ford Transit van on the eastbound carriageway shortly after 5:30am (11/03/2026).
A man aged 53 from Portsmouth, who was driving the van, died at the scene.
The road was shut between Warblington and Fishbourne as emergency services attended. Police are now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
Officers have thanked motorists for their patience while we responded to the collision.
They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, such as dashcam footage in the area at the time, to come forward.
The collision happened between sections over Newells Lane and Ratham Lane near Hambrook.
