Police are working to establish the circumstances of a fatal crash that occurred in Nutley.
A 21-year-old man lost his life on Tuesday evening when his Ford Focus collided with an HGV on the A22 at around 8:40 pm. Two passengers in the car were injured, one of them seriously.
A 21-year-old woman, who was driving a separate vehicle – a Vauxhall – has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant information such as CCTV or dashcam footage or who saw the blue Ford Focus or a red Vauxhall Corsa in the area prior to the collision, is asked to get in touch with Sussex Police.
