Appeal to identify men following serious assault in Tarring

An appeal’s been launched after two men needed hospital treatment following an assault in Worthing.

Police were called to reports of a fight outside the Green Man Ale and Cider House on St Dunstan’s Road just after 6pm on Tuesday.

A 48-year-old man and a 59-year-old man were injured, one seriously.

Officers have released images of two men they want to speak to.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant information to come forward. This includes any CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage.

Officers are also seeking two men in connection with the investigation.

One is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, 5’8” with braces, wearing a black coat, grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.

The second is also in his late teens or early 20s, 6’, and wearing a black coat, jogging bottoms, trainers, and hat.

Anyone with information is asked to report it to Sussex Police online or call 101, quoting serial 1176 of 30/09.
