Firefighters from Littlehampton and Worthing Fire Stations were at the scene of a fire earlier this afternoon (25th September).
Crews attended a fire involving a property on St Augustine Road in Littlehampton. To begin with nearby residents were asked to keep their doors and windows closed whilst crews dealt with the blaze.
According to a tweet by West Sussex Fire and Rescue at 4:30pm, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel.
They remained on scene and ventilated the property and used a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no further hotspots.
It is not known at this point whether anyone was hurt or injured during the incident.
