Drivers are facing delays to their journey this morning as part of the A27 at Chichester has been closed following an earlier accident.
There have been reports this morning that the A27 Chichester by-pass has been closed Westbound between the Portfield Roundabout and the Oving traffic lights (B2144). Drivers report an overturned vehicle is blocking the carriageway.
Many of the roads around the area are very busy as a result and drivers should allow extra time for their journey. Some drivers are reporting long delays eastbound with queuing traffic from the Whyke Roundabout on the A27.
Emergency services are on the scene but it is not known how long the road will be closed.
