People with learning disabilities in Sussex are more prone to heart disease than other groups.

A recent study shows that 58-percent of deaths among people with learning disabilities under the age of 65 could be associated with cardiovascular disease, and their life expectancy is seven years less than the national average.

To tackle this issue, NHS Sussex has collaborated with Speak Out and Thumbs Up Group to create a series of films, leaflets, and training programs to help those at risk of heart disease.
