A driver involved in a two-vehicle collision near Arundel is in a life-threatening condition in a Portsmouth hospital.
Police were called to the A29 Bury Hill, near the Whiteways Lodge Roundabout on Thursday morning.
The vehicles involved were a Peugeot and a Range Rover.
The driver who was seriously hurt is in the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth
The other driver was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester with minor injuries.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing with an appeal for any motorist with dashcam footage to come forward.
