Selsey Coastguard Rescue team warns people to be vigilant after discovering several pieces of ordnance.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was alerted on Saturday morning, and a safety perimeter was set up on Medmerry beach.
Some pieces were safely detonated, while others were removed for proper disposal.
The Coastguard warns that if you see anything suspicious or unusual on the beach or coast, you should contact them on 999.
