Police in Fareham are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a man and a woman were approached by a group of young people at the town’s railway station.
The incident happened on the 14th of December at around 7:30pm.
Officers say the group tried to steal the man’s rucksack and assaulted him, causing minor injuries.
The group are described as between 16 and 20 years old, white, with one member wearing a grey hoodie and another member of the group dressed in all black. It is believed they left the area on the E4 bus toward Redlands Lane.
Police are now issuing an image of a person we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
