The fire broke out in the eary hours of Sunday morning (28th November) at a shop in Worthing.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that early on Sunday morning multiple calls were received concerning a fire in Brighton Road in the town.
Firefighters supported by crews from East Sussex Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene and rescued four people while dealing with the shop fire.
The fire was eventually extinguished and all crews left the scene at 6.30am.
It is not known at this stage whether there were any casualties.

We received multiple calls at 4.48am to the fire in Brighton Road. We were supported by @EastSussexFRS & the fire was extinguished & left the scene at 6.30am.
