Residents of Bognor Regis and Arundel are invited to have their say on local crime and policing issues.

Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne is asking the local community their opinions on how safe they feel in the two towns.

Commenting on the survey Mrs Bourne said: “As PCC, I’m keen to hear what residents really think about policing and crime in Bognor Regis, Arundel and the surrounding areas and to make sure that their views are accurately represented to Sussex Police. I will share the results with the force and ensure that police are responding to the issues that really matter to local residents.

“Moving my Talk Sussex programme online will enable me to reach as many local people as possible, despite the ongoing pandemic. Your feedback matters to me and ensures that the Police & Crime Plan I write for Sussex continues to accurately represent local priorities.”

The role of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is to be the voice of the people and hold the police to account. They are responsible for the totality of policing. PCCs aim to cut crime and deliver an effective and efficient police service within their police force area. They are elected by the public to hold Chief Constables and the force to account, making the police answerable to the communities they serve.
