The London to Brighton Electric Vehicle Rally 2021 cannot go ahead this Sunday as planned due to the large increase in Covid cases in Brighton & Hove.
Following discussions with stakeholders throughout yesterday afternoon, evening and this morning, the team felt they had no option but to postpone the event and have confirmed Saturday 18th September as the new date.
This is the only weekend date in September where Madeira Drive on Brighton seafront is available to use, due to the events around the finish line that have been planned, they wanted to use the seafront as it is a core part of the event.
The safety of staff, participants and the public is the highest priority.
The team behind the inaugural event say they are very much looking forward to welcoming the people of West Sussex to an even better event on the 18th September!
