A man has been arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference in Fleet after the car owner, who was in Argentina, spotted him on camera.
Officers received a report at around 1:30am on the 6th of March that a man was seen on camera attempting to break into a car.
The owner of the car was remotely viewing his Ring CCTV from Argentina when he saw a man outside his address.
He called police and officers immediately deployed to the area and found a man matching the description hiding in bushes on Emerald Avenue just after 2am.
A 38-year-old man from London has been bailed, pending further enquiries.
