
A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a crash in Chichester.
The incident took place on Stane Street, near to New Road at around 8:15 yesterday morning.
Emergency services responded to the collision, which had occurred between a car and a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 60-year-old man from Chichester, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
Stane Street was closed yesterday while services worked at the scene and debris was cleared. It has since reopened, and an investigation to establish the circumstances is underway.
