The collision happened during the early hours of this morning.

The closure on the A27 has been extended to include the westbound carriageway between the Kingston Roundabout and the Carden Avenue junction.

Drivers are facing significant delays, with long journey times reported.

Police say the road is expected to remain closed for some time while investigations continue.
