Families are being invited aboard a travelling museum train visiting Sussex over the next few weeks.
The exhibition is housed inside a real train and uses interactive games, videos and artefacts to explain how railways transformed everyday life.
It’s all part of Railway 200, marking 200 years of the modern railway.
It will be in:
- Worthing - 27–28 February
- Bognor Regis - 2–3 March
- Lewes - 5–6 March
- Hastings - 12–15 March
The exhibition is inside a real train and it’s travelling to 60 locations across Britain until summer 2026.
It’s family-friendly and full of interactive games and challenges. 65,000 have already visited and 9 in 10 would recommend it to a friend. Visitors have described it as “fascinating”, “really well curated” and “extremely interesting”. It's free to visit.
