An investigation is underway after a fire at an industrial building in Berwick.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called out just after three o’clock on Tuesday morning.
Six fire engines and a command support unit were sent to Alfriston Road, where crews found a blaze inside the building.
A spokesperson for ESF&R at the time of the incident said: "East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called at 3:06am on 24 February to reports of an industrial building fire on Alfriston Road, Berwick.
"As of 3:57am we currently have six fire engines, the Command Support Unit and Officers in attendance.
"Crews are using breathing apparatus, one main jet and one firefighting foam jet to tackle the fire.
"Please avoid the area and local residents please keep windows and doors closed."
