Police appeal after car 'deliberately' set alight in Horsham

Sussex Fire and Rescue Service alerted the police to a vehicle fire they attended on Friday after finding it could have been started deliberately.

Police are now appealing for information after the incident in Horsham. 

It happened on Friday (December 17) at around 3.45am in Furzefield Road, Horsham.

Police were made aware of a car on fire by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service who believed it to have been started deliberately.

No one was injured in the incident although the car had its rear window smashed and was set alight. There was also damage to the front door and ground floor windows of the nearby home.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or report it online, quoting serial 172 of 17/12.
