Police appeal following fight in Crawley

Police are appealing for information after reports of a fight in Crawley town centre on Friday evening.

The incident happened at around 7.30pm on 19 September in Broadway, near Taj, and is believed to have involved two teenage boys. One of them was reported to be carrying a knife.

Following enquiries, a 14-year-old boy from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed article in a public place. He has since been released on bail under strict conditions.

Officers have also released images and are seeking to identify a person in connection with further enquiries.
