Police hunting stolen electric bikes after Chichester burglary

Police in Chichester are investigating a burglary in which two electric bikes worth around £6,000 were stolen.

Officers received a report of a break-in at a property that took place at some point between 4.30pm on Friday, June 3 and midday on Sunday, June 5.

The two distinctive electric bikes pictured above were stolen, but the chargers were left behind.

Detective Nathan Taylor said: “These bikes are of great sentimental value to the victims, which goes beyond their significant intrinsic value.

“We would like to speak to anybody who has any information about these thefts or spots the bikes for sale.

“If you can help, please contact Sussex Police online or via 101, quoting serial 645 of 05/06.”
