Scooter rider, 17, seriously injured in collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was seriously injured in a collision in Chichester.

The 17-year-old boy was riding a scooter when he was struck by a dark-coloured car which failed to stop.

He was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, where he remains.

The collision happened in St Pancras, near the junction with New Park Road, between 2pm and 2.30pm on Thursday, 25 September.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam, CCTV or mobile footage to get in touch. They are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of two dark-coloured cars seen in the area at the time.
