Homeless people across Arun can continue to access emergency accommodation until at least Friday.
Those in accommodation during the cold snap will also receive a hot meal, drinks, and snacks, along with shower and washing facilities, and support in seeking longer-term accommodation options.
Arun District Council has activated its Severe Weather Emergency Protocol due to freezing-feel temperatures.
Anyone worried about someone sleeping rough is encouraged to report it using the Streetlink app, which connects people to local support services.
For more information on how to access SWEP, rough sleepers should call Arun's Housing Options Team on 01903 737552 or go to the Civic Centre Littlehampton, between 9am and 4pm on Friday for an assessment of needs and an instant referral into SWEP. Clients will then be given details of where and how to access that night.
Those who need to access the service outside of these hours will need to contact the out of hours team on 01903 737500 for a referral and information on how/where to get help.
