Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision on the on the Harley Shute Road, St Leonards, on Tuesday, March 3.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving two motorbikes at around 3.50pm.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the rider of one of the motorbikes, a 50-year-old man from Battle, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A 49-year-old man from St Leonards was on arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released, and no further action will be taken against him.
Enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances of the collision. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has relevant dash cam footage, to come forward.
