Support Ukraine - Local Efforts

Cathedral Wealth Management

In response to the crisis in Ukraine and devastation this has caused for so many people, Cathedral Wealth Management are calling on all to pledge their support.

Why donate through us?????

Donate a sum of money, create a collection or fundraising event in your business, and through the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation, we are able to TRIPLE THE DONATIONS. So every £1000 becomes £3000 for the charity!

All donations will go through the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation who will DOUBLE MATCH your funding and send onwards to Ukraine through the British Red Cross.
This allows MORE money to be sent direct to those who desperately need help in Ukraine

For more information or to get involved, either call us on 01243 813058, send an email to Emma.Shepherd@sjpp.co.uk or donate here

Ems4Afghans/Bridge to Unity

Emsworth veteran Matt Simmons founded the Ems4Afghans organisation last year as a way to help the people he worked alongside as an RAF technician in Afghanistan. Now relaunching as the community interest company Bridge to Unity, the organisation is gathering crucial donations to help those in Ukraine. Ems4Afghans/Bridge to Unity is hoping to collect donations of medical supplies including bandages and first aid kits, as well as sleeping bags, torches, batteries, power banks, and phones/chargers.

Matt said: "I’m going up to Poland next week, by next Sunday, with a load of items. We are negotiating with companies to help with medical supplies and also funds will be directed to an organisation working on the ground in Ukraine, I’ve listed some other items that have been asked for.”

The group is also launching a fundraising campaign to collect money that will be given to organisations helping at the grassroots level in Ukraine.

To make a donation, contact Ems4Afghans/Bridge to Unity by visiting the Facebook page at facebook.com/Ems4Afghans, or on Twitter at @Ems4Afghans.

Vitalie Trestianu

I'm originally from Republic of Moldova, a small country neighbouring with Ukraine. I live in Felpham, Bognor Regis. Since the attacks in Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainian refugees have fled to Moldova. Moldova is trying to give shelter to these people and is doing its best, but unfortunately they are struggling with certain items:

  • Winter clothes
  • Winter shoes
  • Sleeping bags
  • Mattresses
  • Duvets
  • Pillows
  • Bedding sets (disposable too)
  • Microwaves
  • Washing machines

If you are able to donate something, I can collect it on Friday afternoon or Saturday during the day, with a small van. After, I will transport everything to London, where items will be transported further to Moldova.
If you want to donate something, please, send me a private message or text/call me on 07784036588. We will schedule a collection on Friday or Saturday. Unfortunately, we don't have a collection point. Thank you for your help!!!

Ukraine Sunflower Aid - Midhurst

Ukraine Sunflower Aid in Midhurst is raising funds and donations for refugees of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The Ukraine refugee crisis is one that we have not seen in Europe since the 1940’s and we must help in every way possible. We believe that our amazing community can make a real difference by donating cash, goods and volunteering their time for the cause.

On March 14th, a group of volunteers from Ukraine Sunflower Aid will be travelling to Poland to supply aid for Ukraine refugees. We ask for your help to transport and deliver as many donations as possible and provide a little bit of sunshine in this difficult time. Your cash donation will fund brand new items, such as first aid equipment, toiletries and sanitary supplies, as well as the transportation costs.

You can support Ukraine Sunflower Aid at their crowdfunding page.
