35 years of St. Wilfrid's Hospice

Sponsored by St. Wilfrid's Hospital

Needed Now More Than Ever

St Wilfrid’s has been your local community hospice since 1987. 2022 marks 35 years of expert care and compassion. We believe everyone should be able to live well until the end and die with dignity.
Over 20,000 local people have been referred to St Wilfrid’s vital hospice care since 1987. For every patient we care for, at least two loved ones also receive our support, making over 60,000 people in our community helped by St Wilfrid’s since we first opened our doors.

The pandemic means that our community needs our services now more than ever, and as an independent local charity we need your support to continue to provide care.

The care costs of the Hospice are paid for in part by a small NHS grant, however the majority of our £8.3m annual costs are met thanks to the generous support of fundraisers, donors and customers in our shops. You can help us be there for you, your friends, family and neighbours in the future by supporting us in our 35th year. Thank you.
